The annual Mowrystown Christmas Parade will be held Saturday, Dec. 7. This year's theme will be "The Spirit of Christmas.” Doug Hauke, owner of A-1 Buildings has been selected to serve as the grand marshal.
The parade line up will be held at Nutrien Ag Solutions, 115 West Main Street. Beginning at noon. Judging will be at 12:30 p.m. The parade will start at 1 p.m. and end at Whiteoak Jr/Sr High School. Santa will be available at the Craft Fair for pictures and cookies and hot chocolate will be served.
The Mowrystown Lions Club will award cash prizes for the “Best of Theme”, “Best Decorated Vehicle”, and “Judges’ Choice” entries. We want to see your "The Spirit of Christmas" parade entry. Be creative: Build a float, drive your vehicle, tractor, or golf cart, ride your bike or a horse, walk your dog, etc.
We encourage all businesses, school groups, 4-H Clubs, Scouts, fire departments, churches, etc. to be a part. Help us to make this the best parade ever.
